Kill Devil Hills, NC (basically Kitty Hawk)
Beef brisket, house slow-smoked and hand shredded, over Yukon Gold smashed potatoes, Texas toast, country ham, mushroom bourbon cream gravy
So good. So so so good. The house-smoked brisket…mmm. Didn’t over power. Just a slight hint of smoke left after lunch.
By now, you know I don’t do mushrooms, so I picked out the very few that were there and just gave them to the wifey.
I do have to admit that I was expecting more from the potatoes.
Really nice atmosphere…for a restaurant in a sleepy beach town.
